Teaching positions available are increasing, and I need to make some stuff decisions regarding my career. I know my ultimate  goal is to end up teaching high school, however, the postings that are available are mainly for elementary school. The thought of even being able to apply for a permanent posting this early in my career, when I've know teachers who have supplied and worked LTOs for 8 years plus is a big deal. But I have a big decision to make, do I apply to elementary permanent positions and hope I eventually make my way back up into high school, or do I wait for LTOs and possibly permanents in high school. I know that I could teach elementary school, but it isn't where my passion is. Is it better for me to apply and take an elementary posting, or wait for high school and go where my heart tells me?
